About the team

The Global Revenue & Organization Data Science team provides Airwallex’s Leadership with the data, tooling, and insights needed to amplify Airwallex’s rapid growth. We partner across the entire business, giving us an overarching view and opinion on what Airwallex should prioritize. Our expertise spans the full data stack, and we use it to tackle complex data problems that will shape the future of global fintech. The team is growing quickly, and currently resides in the US, China, and Singapore.

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end analyses to support CTO-level decisions, such as major infra investments and long-term bets in AI

• Act as a thought partner in ambiguous 0→1 initiatives by providing the analytical backbone for scoping solutions, executing strategies, and measuring success

• Leverage advanced statistical methods and AI to forecast and optimize system performance, cost, and scalability

• Design and implement frameworks to measure the real-world impact of AI agents and LLM tooling across engineering workflows

• Build instrumentation and metrics to quantify and enhance the developer experience

• Develop data models and dashboards to track and improve Engineering KPIs

• Serve as a key liaison between Engineering, Finance, and Product leadership

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

• 5+ years industry experience and a degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, Computer Science, Economics)

• Excellent communication skills, ideally with a proven track record of working directly with executive-level stakeholders to influence strategy

• Extensive experience with GCP and modern data architecture tools such as Airflow, dbt, and Databricks

• Experience building machine learning models and deploying AI agents

• Expertise in data querying languages (e.g. SQL) and scripting languages (e.g. Python, R)

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in technology, financial services and/or a high growth environment

• Experience with Tableau, Excel, and Finance systems (e.g. Oracle)
