Minimum 6 years of demonstrable experience building intricate backend systemsSolid SQL and noSQL database experience (Postgres, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch are desired)Advanced knowledge of system architecture and database designDemonstrable problem-solving abilityAbility to quickly learn complex systems and new technologiesKnow-how dealing with building and maintaining complex event-driven systems (i.e. Kafka) with high availabilityStrong knowledge of Node.jsAbility to build highly performant microservices and APIs to power data visualizationsExperience dealing with scalability requirements and performance improvementsAbility to collaborate well with othersStrong communication skillsPrior experience with Continuous Integration and test-driven developmentProficiency in Docker and container orchestration tools
