Job Summary:
HMD Trucking Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Trailer Mechanic to join our on-site repair and maintenance shop. Reporting to the Shop Director, the Trailer Mechanic will inspect, service and repair company owned trailers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to remove and replace subframe assembly.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and issues.
- Remove and replace designated airlines, crossmembers, axle hub assemblies, mud flap brackets and dolly leg assemblies.
- Ability to repair and replace flooring, doors and door gaskets.
- Install exterior components of vents and manifest boxes.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Trailer Mechanic.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing trailers.
- Strong knowledge of Semi-Trailers.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-Time , On Site
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Shift Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 6:00am - 4:00pm
- Rotating Saturday availability required
