Our people and our values. We Arrive Curious, Focused and Together. Just as our entire brand is inspired by the North Star, the shining light leading travelers to their destinations since time began, our values guide us. They help us be at our best. For our customers. For the cities and communities we serve. For ourselves. As a global team, we are transforming urban mobility. Let’s grow better, together.

The Sales Director, Open Parking (OP), is a dynamic and experienced sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth and market share within the segment (e.g., MPP coverage & adoption, promoting and selling Pay and Display (P&D) machines, various SaaS offerings, Insights, and the EasyPark mobile payment solution) in Spain and Portugal. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, leading a team of Account Managers, and fostering strong relationships with key private operators and commercial clients to achieve ambitious sales targets for our solutions.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy specifically for the segment, aligning with overall country/regional and global sales objectives.

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the private operator and commercial parking sectors.

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis for this vertical, including competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs, to inform strategic planning.

  • Drive the entire sales cycle for key deals, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

  • Collaborate closely with Presales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure solution feasibility and successful implementation for key projects.

  • Close collaboration and alignment with Access control parking CP to ensure joint success.

  1. Sales Forecasting & Performance Management:

  • Responsible for accurate sales forecasting and order taking for the assigned portfolio.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance against targets, implementing corrective actions and optimizing sales processes as needed.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts to senior leadership.

  1. Account Management & Client Relationship Building:

  • Oversee and actively participate in key account management for strategic clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the sector.

  • Act as an escalation point for complex client issues related to our solutions.

  1. Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Managers dedicated to this segment.

  • Set clear performance objectives, provide regular coaching and feedback, and support the professional development of team members.

  • Ensure the team is proficient in product knowledge, sales methodologies, and value proposition for our solutions.

  1. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment:

  • Work in close collaboration with the Country Director and other Sales Directors (e.g., ACP, EV, On-Street) to ensure integrated sales efforts and shared best practices.

  • Liaise with Marketing to develop effective go-to-market strategies and collateral for our offerings.

  • Provide valuable market feedback to Product Development to inform future product enhancements and innovations.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-8+ years of progressive experience in sales and business development, with at least 2-3+ years in a leadership or senior sales role.

  • Demonstrated expertise and a proven track record of success in selling solutions within the parking industry, specifically Open Parking (off-street, garages, private operators).

  • Experience with complex B2B sales cycles and managing large accounts.

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of relevant technologies, market dynamics, and customer needs.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients at all levels.

  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while also being a collaborative team player.
