Job description

For over 20 years, Smartsheet has empowered teams to manage work seamlessly and scale solutions smarter. Now, in our most ambitious chapter yet, we are uniting human teams with AI agents. By orchestrating the work agents do best, automating manual tasks and uncovering insights at scale, we create the space for people to focus on what truly matters: judgment, creativity, and big thinking. That is magic at work, and it’s what we show up for every day.

Smartsheet is currently seeking a Principal Partner Enablement Manager and you will work to execute and maintain enablement programs for Smartsheet Partners.  You will be a subject matter expert on Smartsheet’s product, sales motion, and partner program. Our partners will recognize you as the resource that helps them sell, deliver, and grow successfully. You’ll use that expertise to create and deliver a programmatic approach to upskilling our partner ecosystem’s skills.

This is a high-visibility role at the center of Smartsheet's partner ecosystem in APJ. You will shape how our partners sell, deliver, and grow with Smartsheet, with direct influence on regional revenue and partner success.

This role is based in Sydney, reporting to the Senior Director, Strategy.

You Will:

  • Support the Global Partner Program Lead in enabling and executing the Aligned Partner Program (e.g., support data collection, process execution and reporting)
  • Execute and manage the Partner Enablement program regionally and work with all key stakeholders to ensure the success of the program
  • Work cross functionally to build partner competency and skills via asynchronous, instructor led, and web based training programs.
  • Facilitate learning sessions, including live in person content delivery, covering a broad range of Smartsheet content: Product, Technical, Use Case, Target Personas, How to Sell, Services Delivery Methodology and Program Enablement. Experience maintaining audience energy level with live and virtual events. Ease with multi-hour presentation formats.
  • Support Partner Account Managers during new partner recruitment cycles with product demos, API details, other core and advanced product expertise during new partner recruitment meetings with prospect partners.
  • Grade partner exams and challenges for pass/fail of Smartsheet proficiency across product, sales and solutions/implementation services accreditations.
  • Craft, manage, and maintain content in our partner relationship management tool to drive ongoing engagement and relevant information share to our partner ecosystem.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to achieve channel objectives and share best-practices across the partner ecosystem
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure partner success across the Smartsheet domain (i.e., partner with internal learning and content owners, operational excellence, channel operations, marketing resources and sales teams)
  • Guide partners with their Solution Builds. Assist partners to overcome technical build obstacles to achieve successful client outcomes.
  • Work closely with APJ Partner Leader to support growth of the partner ecosystem in the region
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You Have:

  • Experience with a services-centric partner community in B2B Software [Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, others]
  • Understanding of enterprise software Professional Services practice economics.
  • Passion for working with leading edge, web-based technologies and a desire to deeply understand Smartsheet’s benefits, use cases, and business and technical elements
  • 8+ years of experience in a technical field (ex: Consulting, software technical support, training, customer success, etc) and/or enablement and education within a technical field
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic and high growth technology environment
  • High level of motivation, self-starter, excellent at follow-up, team-player with ability to deliver within defined timelines
  • Proven ability to drive projects from concept through completion with minimal guidance
