What We Need
We are looking for a Prescriber Adoption Manager - Sales to be responsible for ensuring continuity between the Physician’s clinic and their prescribers' DME needs. Increasing sales, billed revenue, and new patients in accordance with department goals. You will coordinate referrals to ensure timely admission and appropriate patient care is met. Additionally, you will be responsible for onboarding clinics to facilitate their processing, and completion of orders with accuracy and timeliness to ensure patient needs are met.
What You Will Do
- Effectively working through a high volume of outbound calls.
- Conducting video walk-throughs in a fast- paced environment of a portal frequently reviewed and updated to meet business needs.
- Initiates lead/demand generation strategies such as developing long term relationships with referral sources, clinics, etc. through cold calling, problem solving with follow-up, and integrity.
- Partner with Marketing department to develop or enhance educational literature for Physicians, clinics, and their prescribers.
- Understands how the insurance authorization, benefits and financial process operates and can explain the basics to the referral source when asked.
- Contact referral sources to discuss any problems or delays encountered while placing the referral via our proprietary portal.
- Understands issues related to the most cost-effective delivery method for DME ordered.
- Acts as a resource to all external customers to facilitate resolution of Synapse Health in coordination with members of the operational teams within Synapse Health to assure optimal referral source outcomes.
- Acts as a resource for referral source staff regarding Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance documentation and reimbursement guidelines related to equipment and services.
- Perform additional job duties as assigned.
What You Have

- Highschool Diploma.
- At least 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry in DME sales, Healthcare sales/Marketing including Home Health/Hospice, medical office, clinic, care coordinator, LTAC, SNF, ALF, ICF or Rehab.
- Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Record Systems (EMR).
- Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems.
- Proficient in online ordering and electronic referral platforms.
- Demonstrate organizational skills.
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate analytical skills when problem-solving.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
