Job Description

CLEAR is building THE secure identity company of the future. Our mission is to make experiences safer and easier—physically and digitally. With more than 38 million Members and a growing network of partners across the world, CLEAR's secure identity platform is transforming the way people live, work, and travel. Whether it’s at the airport, stadium, or throughout your everyday life, CLEAR unlocks the magic of frictionless experiences.

CLEAR’s Legal team is seeking an experienced and talented Paralegal to support a wide range of commercial, compliance and regulatory, corporate and securities, labor and employment, litigation and disputes, privacy, and product-related matters.  This role will play a key part in supporting CLEAR’s continued growth across its secure identity business, including its consumer aviation product (CLEAR+), B2B secure identity platform (CLEAR1), and TSA PreCheck enrollment service.

What you'll do:

  • Support the Legal team across a broad range of practice areas, including commercial contracting, compliance and regulatory, corporate governance, employment, litigation, privacy, and product counseling
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing a variety of agreements (e.g., vendor, customer, partnership, and data-related contracts) and help track obligations through the contract lifecycle
  • Partner cross-functionally with various internal teams to support business initiatives
  • Support securities and corporate governance activities, including subsidiary management, equity transactions and reporting, and coordination with CLEAR’s transfer agent
  • Help coordinate litigation and dispute matters, including document collection, organization, subpoenas, and outside counsel engagement
  • Assist with compliance program administration, including policy management, trainings, and internal reporting processes
  • Support employment compliance efforts, including audits, tracking legal developments, and related documentation
  • Support privacy and product-related legal reviews by helping track issues, document decisions, and manage workflows related to launches and vendor reviews
  • Identify opportunities to improve and scale Legal team processes, systems, and workflows, and help implement those improvements

How you'll measure success:

  • Delivering consistently accurate, detail-oriented work across a wide range of legal and operational tasks
  • Effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Improving efficiency by contributing to scalable processes, systems, and documentation
  • Serving as a reliable partner to attorneys and internal stakeholders by anticipating needs and following through
  • Exercising sound judgment, including knowing when to escalate issues or seek guidance
  • Reducing administrative and operational burden on attorneys, enabling the Legal team to focus on higher-value strategic work
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism

What you're great at:

  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, evolving environment with broad exposure to different areas of law
  • Familiarity with legal workflows across one or more of the following areas: commercial contracts, corporate governance, compliance, litigation, employment, or privacy
  • Clear, concise communication and the ability to work effectively with both legal and non-legal stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a willingness to take initiative and improve processes
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and a high level of integrity
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and other standard business tools
  • Experience with legal systems and tools (e.g., contract lifecycle management, eBilling, document management) is a plus

Our offices are bright and energetic with an open concept and plenty of conference rooms and casual co-working spaces. We also offer catered lunches every day and have fully stocked kitchens.
