Chestnut Carbon is a leading nature-based carbon project developer. Our forest conservation membership program, branded Forest Carbon Works (FCW), offers private US forest landowners the opportunity to access carbon credit markets while conserving their forested land and legacy. FCW members enroll their forestlands in our Improved Forest Management (IFM) conservation program, which is the source of our Verra-registered premium carbon credits sold to large corporate buyers. Our FCW Membership Advisors and support teams manage these landowner leads from first point of contact to contract signature and post-sales support. This team works closely with our Natural Resources Team of certified foresters staffed regionally across the country, supporting landowners as they interact with us as prospects or program members.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this Membership Advisor will manage a pipeline of assigned and self-generated leads, carrying an annual quota for forestland acreage enrolled in long-term conservation. In this role, Membership Advisors meet with prospective landowners to qualify and nurture leads through a sales pipeline to signed enrollment contract. The Membership Advisor must quickly develop a deep understanding of our program qualifications, requirements and sales process. They must excel at qualifying leads, building relationships, and closing new memberships based on selling the program value proposition.
Some travel is required. Membership Advisors will visit high-value prospects and attend/present at networking events and trade shows.
