At Neighbor, we’re building the largest hyperlocal marketplace the world has ever seen. We’ve raised over $75 million from top-tier investors such as Andreessen Horowitz and the CEOs of DoorDash, StockX, and Uber. Our marketplace is already flourishing in all 50 states and we’re just getting started!
About the Role
As a Marketplace Growth Associate, you’ll work with Neighbor’s hosts: the commercial and residential property owners who list their storage and parking space on our marketplace. Hosts are the supply side of everything we do. The more easily renters can find a host’s space, the more that host earns and the faster the marketplace grows in every city we serve. You’ll be one of the people making that happen, one host at a time.
Most of your day (50–75%) is outbound phone calls with hosts. On each call, you’ll help a host make their listing stronger and easier to find: setting up a Google Maps pin, tightening photos and descriptions, getting the price right, and building up reviews. The goal is to turn their space into steady, growing income. The rest of your time is operations: running the signage program, tracking results and finding ways to make the whole thing work better. This role fits you if you like being on the phone, you can manage a high volume of work on your own, and you tend to notice when a process could run better.
