Little more about the team:
As our Head of Corporate Marketing, you will lead and scale the functions that shape Honeycomb’s public narrative, market conversations, and industry influence. Your remit will include PR, AR, thought leadership campaigns, executive and influencer communications, social media, customer advocacy, and community engagement. Reporting to the CMO as a member of the Marketing Leadership Team, this is a highly visible role that requires strategic vision, operational excellence, and energetic collaboration. You will work closely with executives and subject matter experts as well as the marketing, product, engineering, and people teams to ensure Honeycomb is a recognized, credible, and compelling market leader.What you’ll do in the role:

- Build, mentor, and grow a diverse bench of corporate marketing professionalsSelect and manage world-class agencies and contractors to augment our internal team
- Foster a culture of creativity and innovation in your team and across marketing
Strategic thinking that moves mountains
- Own quarterly thought leadership campaigns that shape critical market conversations and influence pipeline
- Support quarterly product launches and pipeline generation plays
- Develop an integrated corporate marketing plan aligned to our company growth goals
- Prepare playbooks for anticipated corporate and industry inflection points
Courageous communicator and motivator
- Craft and own a narrative that positions Honeycomb as the leading observability platform for modern engineering teams
- Continue to build upon our bold thought leadership and category creation DNA
- Translate complex technical topics into crisp and compelling stories in collaboration with product marketing, product, and engineering teams
Develops self and others
- Be a leader and force multiplier within the marketing department, ensuring we consistently raise our bar and achieve our goals
- Guide executives and subject matter experts through external engagements such as media interviews, analyst briefings, and speaking opportunities
- Tackle complex challenges with urgency, curiosity, and experimentation
Think like an owner
- Develop a deep understanding of our business, both technically and commercially
- Manage budget and prioritize resources in alignment with our strategy and goals
- Measure and report on the outcomes of corporate marketing programs, clearly demonstrating impact and ROI
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 10+ years leading corporate marketing programs for high-growth B2B SaaS companies
- Deep experience marketing to technical buyers and experts, ideally engineering leaders and developers
- Comfortable guiding and collaborating on a full range of corporate marketing activities, including PR, AR, campaigns, creative, advocacy, and community.
- A hard-won playbook for scaling brand awareness, preference, and share of voice on a global stage, with experience moving upmarket or supporting new GTM motions
- Strong storytelling capabilities to ensure Honeycomb rises above the noise in a crowded and complicated market
- Executive presence that influences both internal stakeholders (peers, leaders, SMEs) as well as external audiences (media, analysts, customers, developers)
- A data-driven mindset to ensure your work impacts both company results and our broader go-to-market strategy
- An open and direct collaboration style focused on win-win outcomes
Base Salary based on level of experience$240,000—$280,000 USDWhat you'll get when you join the Hive:
