We are seeking a Finance Operations Lead to oversee our SaaS billing, Accounts Receivable (AR), and subscription revenue recognition. You will lead financial operations and play a critical role in optimizing our ERP infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in ERP implementations and complex SaaS billing models, with NetSuite experience being a major advantage.
Key Responsibilities
SaaS Revenue & Billing Operations

  • Manage the end-to-end SaaS billing cycle, including new subscriptions, renewals, upsells, and mid-term upgrades.

  • Oversee deferred revenue and SaaS revenue recognition compliance under ASC 606 / IFRS 15 frameworks.

  • Manage automated subscription billing schedules, usage-based metrics, and multi-tier pricing structures.

  • Monitor AR aging reports, manage churn risk, and drive dunning and collections workflows.

  • Reconcile SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, LTV) with core accounting ledgers during month-end close.

ERP Implementation & System Integration

  • Lead or support the implementation, testing, and deployment of SaaS-specific ERP modules.

  • Migrate legacy customer subscriptions and historical financial data into the new system.

  • Integrate NetSuite/ERP with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and specialized subscription billing engines.

  • Map quote-to-cash workflows to maximize automated invoicing and minimize manual calculations.

  • Establish system documentation and train the finance team on new ERP processes.

Team Leadership & Process Optimization

  • Supervise, mentor, and scale a lean team of billing and revenue specialists.

  • Identify bottlenecks in the cash-collection cycle and automate recurring payment workflows.

  • Provide data-driven insights on billing anomalies, credit memos, and bad debt reserves.

Qualifications and Skills
Education & Experience

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in finance operations, specifically within the SaaS or subscription tech industry.

  • Qualification: Graduation completion, Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi-Qualified CA preferred.

  • ERP Expertise: Mandatory hands-on experience driving or supporting an ERP implementation.

  • System Knowledge: Strong proficiency in NetSuite (especially Advanced Revenue Management / SuiteBilling) is a distinct advantage.

Core Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of SaaS billing metrics, revenue deferrals, and contract modifications.

  • Advanced Excel skills for manipulating large data sets during system migrations.

  • Strong project management abilities to meet strict implementation timelines.
