Estimator/Project Manager

About this role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the mechanical industry, with expertise in estimating, project management, and client relations. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion.
What you’ll do:
- Estimating: Accurately prepare cost estimates for mechanical projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Utilize estimating software to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Project Management: Assist with the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mechanical industry, with a focus on estimating and project management.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
- Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
