India, Chennai (Hybrid)
Job description

Join us in bringing joy to customer experience.  Five9 is a leading provider of cloud contact center software, bringing the power of cloud innovation to customers worldwide.

Living our values everyday results in our team-first culture and enables us to innovate, grow, and thrive while enjoying the journey together. We celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive environment, empowering our employees to be their authentic selves.

We are seeking a skilled DocuSign CLM Administrator and Workflow Developer to join our Business
Technology team. This role is responsible for administering, configuring, and maintaining the DocuSign
CLM platform, including users, permissions, templates, workflows, metadata, and repositories, and for
building and maintaining the commercial document templates and workflows used to generate, route,
negotiate, and execute Five9’s customer agreements.
The ideal candidate has at least three years of business systems administration experience, including at
least two years of hands-on DocuSign CLM administration, and holds a Certified DocuSign CLM
Administrator credential, with a Certified DocuSign CLM Workflow Developer credential strongly
preferred.
The position is a hybrid role combining in-office and work-from-home days, based in Chennai or
Bengaluru, India, and requires regular overlap with United States business hours, including work until
approximately 11:30 PM India Standard Time when needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer, configure, and maintain the DocuSign CLM platform, including users, permissions,
templates, workflows, metadata, and repositories.
• Create and maintain commercial document templates — including Master Services Agreements,
service orders, order forms, amendments, and renewals — using legal language and clauses
approved by the Legal team.
• Develop and maintain DocuSign CLM workflows for document generation, review, approval,
negotiation, signature, storage, amendments, and renewals.
• Configure conditional content and clause selection based on product, pricing, transaction type,
and geography.
• Support the generation of service orders and commercial documents from Salesforce CPQ quotes
and quote line information, and maintain related field mappings between Salesforce CPQ,
DocuSign CLM, and DocuSign eSignature.
• Partner with Legal, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to translate
business and legal requirements into scalable templates and workflows.
The New CX Starts Here
• Troubleshoot document generation, workflow, data mapping, and electronic signature issues, and
drive them to resolution.
• Identify opportunities to simplify contract processes, reduce manual effort, and accelerate
contract execution.
• Participate in moderately complex CLM enhancements and projects, working independently with
guidance on broader architectural or strategic decisions.
Key Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum three years of business systems administration experience, including at least two years of
hands-on DocuSign CLM administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent
practical experience.
• Certified DocuSign CLM Administrator credential required; Certified DocuSign CLM Workflow
Developer credential strongly preferred, given the role’s focus on building and modifying approval
and document workflows.
• Experience configuring and supporting a production DocuSign CLM implementation, including
users, permissions, security, repositories, and metadata.
• Hands-on experience building DocuSign CLM workflows, including approval routing, conditional
steps, notifications, escalations, and exception handling.
• Experience building and maintaining commercial document templates (e.g., Master Services
Agreements, service orders, order forms, amendments, renewals) and clause libraries using legal
language approved by the Legal team.
• Experience supporting Salesforce CPQ generated quotes and commercial documents, including
familiarity with the underlying Salesforce data (Account, Opportunity, Quote, Quote Line, Product,
Contract).
• Experience maintaining integrations and field mappings between Salesforce CPQ, DocuSign CLM,
and DocuSign eSignature, and ensuring contract status and executed agreements are accurately
returned to Salesforce.
• Working knowledge of DocuSign eSignature, including envelope templates, recipients, signing
order, and authentication.
• Basic Salesforce administrator-level knowledge (objects, fields, relationships, and permission sets)
and familiarity with the Salesforce CPQ data model and document generation process.
• Working knowledge of XML, JSON, HTML, basic JavaScript, REST APIs, and SQL.
The New CX Starts Here
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word template formatting, including tables, styles, sections, headers,
and conditional content.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to work
independently across Legal, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Finance, and IT, and across a distributed,
global team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• DocuSign eSignature Administrator or Salesforce Certified Administrator certification is a plus.
• DocuSign CLM Implementation Consultant or Technical Consultant certification is a plus,
particularly for candidates building more complex integrations or performing solution
architecture.
Why You’ll Love This Role:
• You will play a central role in shaping how Five9 generates, negotiates, and executes customer
contracts at scale.
• You will partner closely with Legal, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, and Finance, gaining broad
visibility into the commercial contracting process.
• You will work at the intersection of Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, DocuSign CLM, and DocuSign
eSignature, solving practical, cross-system problems that directly impact deal velocity.
• If you enjoy simplifying complex processes and building reliable, well-documented systems, this
role offers strong opportunities to grow your CLM and business systems expertise.

This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in office.

Five9 embraces diversity and is committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.  The more inclusive we are, the better we are.  Five9 is an equal opportunity employer.
