You will use your technical skills to provide support in preparing drainage, utility, and stormwater management design. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or junior engineer looking to gain exposure to multiple project stages while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.Your Role
- Help design each phase of the project (typical; Preliminary Grading, Preliminary Utility Layout, Final Grading, Final Utility Plan and Profiles, Construction Documents and Construction Phase services) to deliver a set of contract documents that will be used for permits and construction.
- Provide AutoCAD support for the preparation of projects documents.
- Help provide design calculations for drainage, utility, Stormwater management, reports, and analysis.
- Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer with construction services (site visits, review shop drawings, etc.).
- Perform project code searches and analysis for each project.
- Provide assistance for submittals for jurisdiction agencies.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and team members.
Qualifications- New graduate or up to 3 years of experience within the Civil Engineering field
- A minimum of one year of experience in the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred
- Land/site development experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
- Strong computer and written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
