About the Role

Supporting day-to-day aspects of planning, cleaning errors, booking, shipping, and tracking shipments. Managing carrier relationships through constant communication to obtain load status and proactively monitor shipments through pick-up, transit, delivery, and empty return to ensure on-time performance. Maintaining the TMS updated with the correct load status (loaded, pick-up, documents retrieved, border crossed, delivery) and planning all loads in a timely manner. Prioritizing orders and adjusting schedules to ensure customer priority requirements are met. 

What the Candidate Will Do

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with Customers through professional and timely communications, and inquiry responses.
• Maintain cooperative and professional work relationships with all stakeholders, including customers, carriers and colleagues.
• Communicate service issues to Uber Freight management.
• Demonstrate ownership of assigned segments of business.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Tools-Ability to leverage Excel and other MS programs, including Word, Outlook, Teams etc.
• Geographical Knowledge-Geographical understanding of the Mexico and US. Understanding of mileage as it relates to the passage of time.
• General knowledge of rail, full truckload and less than truckload. Logistics Knowledge-Know of import and export operation basics.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced English written, oral, and presentation communication skills
• College degree
