Job title
Commercial Partner Manager
Job location
San Francisco, Austin, New York City
Job description

We are an applied AI lab building end-to-end software agents.

We're the makers of Devin, the first AI software engineer.

Our team is extremely talent-dense. Among our founding team, we have world-class competitive programmers, former founders, and leaders from companies at the cutting edge of AI including Scale AI, Palantir, Cursor, Waymo, Tesla, Lunchclub, Modal, Google DeepMind, and Nuro.

Building Devin is just the first step—our hardest challenges still lie ahead. If you’re excited to solve some of the world’s biggest problems and build AI that can reason on real-world tasks, apply to join us.

About the Role

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • As a Commercial Channel Partnerships Manager, you will own the long tail of Cognition's global partner ecosystem — programmatically onboarding, activating, and scaling a high volume of partners around the world.

  • You'll build and run the systems, playbooks, and enablement programs that let dozens of partners ramp efficiently at once — turning a broad, fragmented partner base into a repeatable, scalable revenue channel.

  • You'll nurture emerging partners as they grow, identifying the ones showing real traction and championing their graduation into focus partnerships managed by our senior partner team.

  • You'll work closely with sales, engineering, product, and marketing to make sure every partner — no matter their size — has what they need to represent Devin credibly and win business.

  • Successful candidates will have 2+ years of experience in sales, consulting, investment banking, or private equity, strong analytical and organizational instincts, and the drive to build scalable programs in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Insanely high adaptability and a deep passion for the (somewhat chaotic) early stages of company building.

  • Relentless drive – hunger to build, run, and continuously improve a partner program that operates at scale.

  • An operator's mindset – you love creating structure out of ambiguity: playbooks, processes, and metrics that make one person's effort go a hundred partners deep.

  • Boundless curiosity and ability to learn quickly – the market dynamics in this space change daily!

  • Deep partner and customer empathy – we're building long-term relationships and that requires always putting our partners and customers first.

  • The technical aptitude to become fluent in our products and a credible resource for partners on their AI strategy.

  • Team player – we win and lose with our incredible Product, Engineering, and GTM peers.

Equal Opportunity

Cognition is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities throughout the hiring process - please let us know if you need any.
