Client Strategy Lead

The responsibility of the Client Strategy Lead is to act as a trusted strategic advisor to Linqia’s biggest customers, helping brands grow and become more sophisticated in their influencer marketing efforts. 

What You’ll Do

  • Ongoing: lead strategy for 1-2 of Linqia’s biggest accounts:
    • Act as a trusted advisor on all things influencer marketing, deepening Linqia’s relationship with these clients and growing these accounts
    • Run client workshops, aka Linqia Lookouts, digging into past performance, bringing inspiration from across the industry, and planning for the future
      • Schedule, design, prepare for, and lead in-person or virtual client strategy workshops in the tristate area or elsewhere in the US
      • Give feedback to cross-functional partners (e.g. creative strategists, creative coordinators, strategic accounts managers, media and measurement strategists, talent partners) on their workshop inputs
      • Finalize workshop decks, in partnership with a dedicated presentation designer
      • Collect, interpret, and apply external and internal feedback on Linqia Lookout sessions
    • Oversee ongoing competitive monitoring and relevant trendspotting
    • Deliver monthly client newsletters, surfacing influencer campaign performance data, industry trends, and competitive activity
  • As needed: contribute to new business pitches:
    • Interpret briefs, RFPs, and conversations with brand marketers to accurately diagnose their influencer marketing needs
    • Design brand-specific strategic approaches to annual influencer marketing plans, including allocating budgets, devising channel strategies, and creating account-level learning agendas
    • Brief internal teams (e.g., creative, talent, media and measurement) on their inputs for new business proposals
    • Structure proposal decks (in Canva), utilizing Linqia templates and design resources as needed
    • Present new business pitches to potential clients, virtually or in-person (alongside Sales, Creative, and other cross-functional partners, as needed)

Ideal Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a consultant and/or strategy role at a US-based consulting firm or agency
  • Stellar presentation skills (in person and virtually), with experience traveling for work
  • Experience running/playing a leading role in client strategy workshops, including designing and facilitating interactive exercises
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, allowing you you to guide cross-functional teams and ensure delivery against timelines
  • Ability to create presentation decks from templates (we work in Canva)
  • Experience in the influencer/creator/social media space is preferred, but not required; strong interest in the industry is crucial

  • New York City (hybrid) with occasional travel for work required
