Job Description
Kinsta is one of the top-managed WordPress hosting companies, with a growing club of 120,000+ businesses including startups, universities and Fortune 500 firms. We're motivated by excellent quality, and proud to have received a 97% satisfaction rating from our customers.
That's because, to us, each day is a chance to grow. As a team, we continuously inspire each other to learn new and better ways to make an impact. We own our jobs proudly - our leaders don't hold our hands, but they're in our corner whenever we ask for help - and our environment is flexible and remote-first.
Ready to take on a dynamic role where creativity fuels pipeline? We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) in the EMEA region who will be responsible for generating new qualified opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting for their Account Executive partners.
As the first point of contact for many of our target prospects, BDRs need to have a strong understanding of Kinsta’s product and sales process, excel at researching accounts, personalizing outreach, and creating meaningful conversations that lead to qualified meetings. You’ll use a variety of outbound tools and techniques to break into new accounts and maintain accurate contact and company records in the CRM. BDRs who establish high performance and align with the Kinsta Ethos will unlock opportunities for growth within the revenue organization.
If you’re passionate about finding new ways to spark conversations, thrive on owning your number, and love the challenge of building outbound pipeline — we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
  • Proactively source and qualify outbound leads through personalized outreach strategies, including cold email, phone calls, video messages, and social engagement.
  • Book meetings for Account Executives by applying BANT qualification and providing detailed handoff notes.
  • Experiment with messaging, sequencing, and outreach channels to improve response and conversion rates.
  • Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, Vidyard, Vidu, Aircall, and HubSpot CRM to research accounts and drive outbound engagement.
  • Enroll outbound leads in prospecting campaigns and follow up consistently across multiple channels.
  • Maintain consistent outbound activity focused on cold, net-new pipeline creation.
  • Keep HubSpot contact, company, and deal records clean and up to date with detailed activity notes.
  • Accept and work leads assigned by members of the sales, revenue, and marketing organizations.
  • Make process and tooling suggestions that improve outbound effectiveness.
  • Own your 1:1s by preparing in advance, sharing updates, and taking action on coaching feedback.
  • What You Bring To The Role:
  • At least 1–2 years of work experience in outbound business development or a similar role.
  • A results-oriented mindset and confidence with cold calling, written, social media, and video outreach.
  • Near-native proficiency in English and exceptional writing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech-savvy, with a strong interest in technology and SaaS.
  • Bonus if you have:
  • Prior experience or basic knowledge of the hosting or cloud infrastructure space.
  • A demonstrated interest in sales through a sales development certificate or coursework.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot Sales or Salesforce and other prospecting tools.
  • Fluency in a second Kinsta language beyond English. Languages we’re currently targeting include Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, and Japanese.
  • Our Benefits:
  • Annual remote expense budget.
  • Flexible PTO.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Annual professional development budget: available after one year with Kinsta.
  • Sabbatical: available after three years with Kinsta (and every three years thereafter).
  • Location-specific healthcare benefits (including vision and dental) for employees hired in the UK, and Hungary.
  • Pension plan for employees hired in the UK
