Minimum 3 years of demonstrable Node.js experience, building intricate backend systemsDemonstrable creative problem-solving abilityAbility to quickly learn complex systems and new technologiesWorking knowledge of system architecture and database designKnow-how dealing with building and maintaining complex event-driven systemsDemonstrable experience with both SQL and NoSQL databasesAbility to build highly performant APIs to power data visualizationsExperience dealing with scalability requirements and performance improvementsAbility to collaborate well with othersStartup experience as a plusStrong communication skillsPrior experience with Continuous Integration and test-driven development as a plus
