About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Associate Accountant to join our Finance team in India. In this role, you'll support the day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, compliance, and statutory reporting for our India entity.

You'll work closely with senior finance leaders to ensure financial records are accurate, timely, and compliant with Indian statutory requirements, GAAP, and company policies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and wants to build broad experience across accounting, tax, and compliance.

What You'll Do

Accounting Operations

  • Process daily accounting transactions and support month-end and quarter-end close activities.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure the integrity of accounting data.
  • Support monthly financial reporting and audit requirements.
  • Process Accounts Payable invoices and employee expense reimbursements in accordance with company policies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and monitor supplier payments within the ERP system.
  • Support banking administration activities, including FIRC documentation and other banking-related requirements.

Tax & Compliance

  • Prepare supporting data for statutory and tax-related activities, including:
    • Payroll Tax
    • Employee TDS
    • Provident Fund (PF)
    • Professional Tax (PT)
    • National Pension Scheme (NPS)
  • Support quarterly vendor TDS filings and Form 16A issuance.
  • Maintain documentation required for statutory compliance and tax reporting.

Audit & Regulatory Support

  • Prepare financial schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Organize and analyze financial data to support reporting and compliance activities.
  • Assist with SEZ documentation and tracking of inward and outward movement of goods.
  • Support annual regulatory filings and renewals, including GST LUT, IEC, Trade License, Professional Tax, Shops & Establishment Certificate, and Labour Welfare Fund.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience, including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and financial compliance.
  • Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, Coupa, and Navan.
  • Working knowledge of Indian GAAP (Ind AS), GST, and Indian statutory accounting requirements.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
