About the role

The Accounts Payable team is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to support accurate and timely payment processing across our international business.

This role will process vendor and contractual payments, help resolve payment issues, support financial controls, and partner with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Finance, Tax, Procurement, Legal, Business Affairs, and Treasury.

The Accounts Payable Analyst will also support AP reporting, reconciliations, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

A Day in the Life of Our Accounts Payable Analyst

  • Review and process invoices and payment requests after confirming proper authorization, coding, documentation, and approval.
  • Process contractual and vendor payment obligations by reviewing applicable terms, validating required support, confirming payment timing, and ensuring accurate and timely processing in accordance with company policies.
  • Process and support international Accounts Payable transactions across multiple entities and currencies.
  • Review vendor aging and assist with resolving past-due, outstanding, or disputed invoices.
  • Perform vendor statement reconciliations and research payment or invoice discrepancies.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to resolve missing documentation, approvals, tax information, or other payment-related issues.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation and payment support is maintained in accordance with company policies, SOX controls, and audit requirements.
  • Partner with the Tax team to support tax compliance for domestic and international payments, including withholding tax requirements.
  • Support intercompany transactions and help ensure proper documentation and coding.
  • Prepare and support AP reporting related to vendor aging, liabilities, upcoming payments, and open issues.
  • Identify payment discrepancies, duplicate-payment risks, or process issues and escalate as appropriate.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders by providing timely and professional support.
  • Collaborate with AP team members, share knowledge, and support onboarding and team initiatives as needed.
  • Participate in opportunities to improve Accounts Payable processes, controls, reporting, and automation.
  • Support ERP, procure-to-pay, and Finance transformation initiatives as needed.
  • Support internal and external audit requests and other ad hoc projects.

About You

Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
    • 2+ years of Accounts Payable, accounting, or related Finance experience, preferably within a large or multinational organization.
    • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages, is required.
    • Strong understanding of the Accounts Payable lifecycle, including invoice processing, approvals, payments, reconciliations, aging, and issue resolution.
    • Experience processing vendor and contractual payment obligations, including reviewing payment terms, documentation requirements, and due dates.
    • Experience supporting transactions involving multiple entities, currencies, or jurisdictions preferred.
    • Working knowledge of intercompany transactions, financial controls, SOX requirements, and audit support.
    • Experience working with ERP systems and automated AP or procure-to-pay platforms.
    • Experience with NetSuite and Coupa preferred.
    • Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to work independently, manage assigned responsibilities, meet deadlines, and escalate issues when appropriate.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working in a large, multinational organization.
    • Experience supporting high-value contractual payments, royalties, licensing agreements, or Minimum Guarantees.
    • Experience with international payments, foreign currencies, and withholding taxes.
    • Experience participating in ERP, automation, or Finance process-improvement initiatives.
