RosVivo Therapeutics is a biotechnology company it develops microRNA-based therapeutics for type 2 diabetes, obesity, fatty liver disease. RosVivo Therapeutics targets diseases with breakthrough therapies utilizing microRNA (miRNA) and small interfering-RNA (siRNA) drugs. Discovery research conducted by Dr. Seungil Ro’s laboratory recently identified key miRNAs responsible for the onset and development of Type 2 Diabetes (T2D). Preclinical studies show depletion of these key miRNAs lead to the development of not only T2D, but also obesity, fatty acid liver disease, hyperlipidemia, and gastroparesis.
