ACCION Texas, founded in 1994, provides loans, lines of credit and other services to small businesses that do not have access to funds from commercial sources. The association s $10 million Opportunity Fund offers financial support to small business owners. Its loans range from $500 to $50,000 and lines of credit range from $5,000 to $25,000. The loans are also offered to persons with limited or poor credit history. The organization provides online loan payment facility and resources on obtaining loans.
