EDX Markets is an institutional cryptocurrency exchange owned by Citadel Securities, Fidelity Digital Assets, Charles Schwab Corporation, Virtu Financial and Sequoia among others. Initially, the exchange offered trading in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash. In November 2024, the exchange added trading support for two memecoins, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. EDX offers a non-custodial model, meaning that it does not hold clients' digital assets. The exchange began processing trades in June 2023.
