About the Role:
We are excited to offer a full-time permanent Warehouse Yardperson position at our Brisbane Brendale Distribution Centre. Join our dynamic growing team and play a vital role in our efficient operations!
The primary role of the Warehouse Yardperson is to undertake:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse, yard, loading areas, and external surrounds.
Complete general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, rubbish removal, recycling, and keeping walkways and work areas clear.
Assist with basic site and equipment maintenance, minor repairs, and reporting hazards or maintenance issues.
Safely move, load, unload, and store stock, bins, and equipment as required.
Operate a forklift and other approved equipment as required
Follow all company policies, safety requirements, quality practices, and manual-handling procedures.
About you, skills and experience:
We are looking for someone with the right attitude and ability to be adaptable, think on your feet, communicate efficiently and work well within a team.
We are looking for a someone who has:
Previous experience in a warehouse, yard maintenance, or similar hands-on role.
Strong commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and maintaining an organised work environment.
Ability to perform physical and repetitive work, including manual handling of items up to 15kg.
Forklift licence is desirable.
