With our software, we enable hospitals, doctors & nurses to provide their patients with the best possible care.
We are growing fast and want to keep expanding our team and business to fundamentally digitize healthcare for the better. We appreciate different backgrounds and see diversity as one of our strengths.

THE TEAM AND ROLE

We’re looking for an Android Engineer (all genders) to bring our mobile experience to life and into the hands of healthcare professionals. Expect ownership, impact, and plenty of room to grow.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work hands-on with our core development team to build and improve our Android application

  • Contribute to large-scale deployments and performance-critical systems in healthcare environments

  • Use the latest Android technologies to develop features that are both technically robust and user-friendly

  • Collaborate with design, product, and clinical experts to translate complex requirements into elegant mobile experiences

  • Continuously propose and implement improvements for usability, performance, and scalability

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top university, or equivalent practical experience

  • Proven experience in developing Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

  • Interest in the healthcare space and eagerness to work on meaningful, high-impact technology

  • Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn new technologies and tools

  • Quality-focused mindset and clean coding habits

  • Fluency in English

YOUR BENEFITS

  • Variety in your tasks and the opportunity to take ownership

  • Flexible working hours

  • Support for your personal development through continuous learning and feedback and high chances to transition into a full-time role if the collaboration is successful

  • An international, informal team structure in a motivating start-up atmosphere, allowing you to participate directly in our customer growth story and the overall success of Avelios

  • Ability to gain valuable hands-on experience in a startup backed by leading international VCs

  • A monthly meal allowance up to 75 euros, and Corporate Benefits that give you access to discounts from a wide range of providers in various areas
