Veterinary Technician Internship (Bel-Rea students only) - Sploot Veterinary Care

Sploot Veterinary Care is introducing a brand new approach to veterinary care in the form of Urgent & Primary Care Clinics and we’re thrilled to offer eighth quarter internships for Bel-Rea Veterinary Technician students. Join our team and help us provide the ABSOLUTE BEST medical care to our patients.

* Gain 400 hours of hands-on clinic experience during your eight quarter at Bel-Rea

* Work closely with our veterinary team to provide high-quality medical care to our patients
* Participate in an individualized program to enhance problem-solving, technical, and communication skills
* Work alongside veterinary professionals in various aspects of patient care
* Support technicians in diagnostic and treatment plans
* Learn fear-free techniques for patient exams, treatments, and procedures
* Engage in daily hospital nurse duties and responsibilities that provide an elevated level of care and experience for our patients and pet parents
* Real-world experience in primary and urgent care medicine in a small animal practice
* One-on-one mentorship and individualized onboarding to guide your professional development
* Opportunity to focus on specific areas of interest within the veterinary field
* Discover diverse roles and career opportunities while gaining practical experience

* You are currently enrolled in Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology

* You are a team player, and always looking to collaborate with others

* You’re super organized, and focused on efficiency  

 

* Previous veterinary experience

 

* Competitive base pay of $19/hour
