Job description

Datarails is the Finance OS for SMBs, a production FP&A suite with AI at its core that lets finance teams keep the Excel they love while automating data consolidation, reporting, and planning, providing a one-of-a-kind finance assistant across daily workflows. Built for the Office of the CFO, Datarails unifies FP&A, Month-End Close, Spend Control, Desk, and Cash into a single, connected platform—integrating financial data from the business into a single source of truth for faster, more reliable decisions. Role mission Optimize our SDLC end-to-end so strategic initiatives with committed delivery dates land predictably, and P0/P1 issues are handled with speed and clarity. You’ll reduce bottlenecks across Engineering, Product, QA, DevOps, Support, and CS, surface risks early, and keep stakeholders aligned, so we deliver business value with fewer surprises.
This position reports to the VP R&D and is part of the R&D management team.

What you will do:
● Lead projects and R&D processes through the entire SDLC (from planning to release).

● Reduce bottlenecks across functions (including Product) by mapping handoffs across Eng/Product/QA/DevOps/Support/CS and removing blockers to improve cycle time, throughput, carryover, and blocker age.

● Create visibility with data by publishing concise weekly delivery health updates (status, deltas, decisions, risks) dashboards. Provide heads-up and enablement notes for Product, Support, and CS.

● Lean agile enablement by facilitating planning/standups/reviews as needed. Tune ceremonies to be lightweight and outcome-focused. Step into the scrum master role when needed.

● Own P0/P1 bugs & strategic delivery: Single-threaded ownership of timelines, dependencies, and risks for strategic initiatives; run a fast-track protocol for P0/P1 issues (intake → triage SLAs → assignment → fix/verification → stakeholder updates)

● Lead our release process, ensuring high-quality releases on time and clear communication

Requirements:
● At least 5 years of experience in the tech industry (multi-team delivery experience), with hands-on roles as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, TPM, or Release Manager

● Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience in the different technology domains- software engineering, QA, AI, infrastructure, DevOps, IT, and Data

● Proven experience adopting AI in the TPM domain

● Excellent communicator, comfortable partnering with executive managers, Product, Support, Marketing, and CS.

● Hands-on with Jira/Linear: model workflows, build actionable dashboards, and drive decisions with metrics.

● Strong ability to present complex technical features in a simple, convincing manner.

● Solid grasp of SDLC, Scrum/Kanban; pragmatic governance (right-sized process, minimal overhead).

● Experience coordinating globally distributed teams; excellent English.

What you’ll get:

● Competitive compensation and ongoing recognition for your contributions.

● Meaningful opportunities for learning, growth, and skill development in a dynamic industry.

● The chance to make an outsized impact in a successful, rapidly growing organization with an engaged leadership team.

● A fun, enthusiastic, and supportive work environment - never a dull moment.
