  • Support pre-construction activities and subcontractor coordination

  • Manage multiple estimates and project deadlines simultaneously

  • Work within the company's internal job tracking and AI-powered quoting system

  • Collaborate remotely with Mark VeRost and the senior estimator to review estimates and maintain pricing accuracy

  • Identify potential scope gaps, discrepancies, and estimating risks before bids are submitted

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of structural fabrication estimating experience

  • Strong experience with takeoffs, bid preparation, and cost estimation

  • Background in structural steel, custom metal fabrication, or related heavy fabrication

  • Strong attention to detail and a proven track record of estimate accuracy

  • Fluent English, both written and verbal

  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team

  • Comfortable learning and working within multiple software platforms and internal systems

  • Able to commit to a full-time, 40-hour/week schedule

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience estimating skids, heavy structural projects, or complex custom fabrication

  • Experience working on US-based construction or fabrication projects

  • Civil engineering degree or equivalent technical/trade experience
