Job description: Asendia AI is an AI-powered recruiting platform that helps staffing firms find, engage, and place candidates more efficiently. We’re one of the fastest-growing startups in our YC batch and recently raised an oversubscribed seed round backed by leading investors. We’re growing quickly and looking for a **Staffing Intern** to work closely with our founders and help us hire exceptional people across engineering, sales, marketing, and other roles. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how recruiting works inside a fast-growing AI startup while taking real ownership of the hiring process. ### Responsibilities * Source and identify strong candidates for open roles * Review applications and résumés and help build candidate shortlists * Reach out to candidates through LinkedIn, email, and other channels * Conduct initial candidate screening and help evaluate fit * Coordinate interviews between candidates, founders, and team members * Keep our recruiting pipeline and candidate information organized and up to date * Follow up with candidates throughout the interview process * Research new sourcing channels, communities, and recruiting strategies * Help improve our job descriptions, outreach messages, and hiring processes * Support the founders with day-to-day recruiting and hiring priorities ### What We’re Looking For * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Highly organized with excellent attention to detail * Comfortable reaching out to and speaking with candidates * Proactive and able to take ownership without constant direction * Interest in recruiting, staffing, AI, and startups * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment * Previous recruiting, sourcing, HR, or staffing experience is a plus, but not required ### Why Join You’ll work directly with Asendia AI’s founders and get hands-on exposure to startup recruiting from sourcing through hiring.
