Department Overview

The Evidence Product Management team owns the roadmap for delivering Motorola Solutions’ body cameras, vehicle cameras, and evidence management software. These products are used worldwide to keep communities and individuals safe in public safety and enterprise organizations.


Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Product Development Manager, a problem solver to join the Evidence team.

Responsibilities:

  • Defining Epics features and product roadmap

  • Writing user stories and product requirements driven by customer use cases and product strategy

  • Prioritizing backlog based on inputs from customers, sales, customer support and product strategy

  • Identifying customer needs and market requirements and using technical skills to create feature and technical requirements

  • Leveraging deep background experience for working with go-to-market organizations and translating technical feature details into customer-friendly, non-technical messaging

  • Being a technical liaison between the development team, the customer and customer support teams

  • Estimating cost of development, operations, and licensing behind features and software that will be sold

  • Planning and designing development sprint backlog of features to be delivered

  • Identifying and mitigating technical risks in feature design

  • Studying user feedback and usage patterns to identify necessary feature changes to increase customer adoption and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 8+ years of experience in Software Development industry with 3+ years of experience in Product Development or a similar role

  • Excellent communication skills (English)

  • Proven technical and analytical skills

  • Displaying leadership, organizational and execution skills

Target Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in Software Development industry with 3+ years of experience in Product Development or a similar role.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
