Position Summary

Kaseya is hiring Sr. Engineer, NOC Services with strong experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, server monitoring, patch management, Hyper-V/VMware, backup, and disaster recovery. The role focuses on infrastructure monitoring, alert triage, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and maintaining high availability across enterprise IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform server monitoring and troubleshooting for all Active Directory components and roles, including: DNS, DHCP, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), DFS Replication (DFSR), Active Directory Replication, Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
  • Triage and resolve server performance monitoring alerts, including CPU, memory, disk, and service-level issues.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve disk space issues, including: Drive/disk capacity monitoring, Disk and storage resizing/expansion, Coordination with storage teams when required
  • Manage Windows patching activities, including: Troubleshooting patch failures, Applying Cumulative Updates (CU) for Microsoft Exchange, Performing Windows Server version upgrades
  • Plan and execute patching of virtual machines hosted in Hyper-V clustering environments, ensuring minimal service disruption.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs, ensuring backup success and data integrity.
  • Actively participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) operations, including: Restoration activities, DR testing and drills, Validation and documentation of recovery procedures
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support for virtualization platforms, including: Hyper-V / Hypervisor environments, VMware infrastructure
  • Manage and troubleshoot antivirus and security applications, addressing alerts, policy issues, and performance impact.
  • Apply basic networking knowledge to troubleshoot infrastructure issues, including: IP addressing, DNS resolution, and routing basics; Network connectivity and firewall-related coordination
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Windows Server administration and Active Directory services
  • Hands-on expertise in server monitoring and alert triage
  • Solid knowledge of disk/storage management in Windows environments
  • In-depth understanding of Windows patch management and Exchange CU updates
  • Experience with Hyper-V clustering and virtual machine management
  • Practical experience in backup solutions and disaster recovery
  • Working knowledge of virtualization platforms (Hyper-V / VMware)
  • Experience supporting AV and endpoint security tools
  • Basic but solid understanding of networking concepts
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, VMware, Azure, or equivalent
  • Experience in enterprise or managed services environments
  • Exposure to ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
