At Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency (PSVSE), our neurology service combines advanced diagnostics, cutting-edge technology, and a highly collaborative team environment. As a Neurology LVT, you will work alongside a talented board-certified neurologist/neurosurgeon and experienced technical staff to support a wide range of medical and surgical cases.

Position Summary
As a Neurology LVT at PSVSE, you will play a key role in supporting both medical and surgical neurology cases. This includes advanced anesthesia, imaging support, patient monitoring, and client communication.
This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically in a specialty setting. You will work closely with your neurologist and team to ensure seamless case flow, exceptional patient care, and a high level of client support and education.

What You’ll Do
• Monitor anesthesia for advanced neurosurgical procedures and imaging cases
• Support surgical procedures including hemilaminectomies, ventral slots, and AA luxation stabilization & more.
• Run anesthesia for MRI and CT imaging
• Utilize advanced anesthesia and analgesia protocols
• Operate and monitor ventilators during procedures
• Monitor hospitalized neurology patients and communicate changes to the medical team
• Provide client communication and education throughout the patient’s care journey
• Assist with patient intake, diagnostics, and treatment planning support
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records
• Collaborate closely with neurology, ER, and specialty teams
What We’re Looking For
• Active Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential required
• Minimum of 1 year of LVT experience required
• Advanced anesthesia knowledge preferred, including ventilator use
• Neurology or specialty experience preferred, but not required
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
