We are looking for motivated software engineers to join our APAC engineering team as part of a high-growth Cybersecurity company. You will be designing and building product features to bring Bitdefender’s cutting-edge security technologies, from endpoint security to cloud application protection, to businesses worldwide.

About the Role
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle with Agile Scrum methodology and deliver new features on a continuous basis, while maintaining and scaling existing featuresCollaborate daily with a small, nimble team of product managers, engineers, and cybersecurity specialists to understand business requirements and product goalsRapidly build prototypes to test and validate product featuresOwn end-to-end development for feature sets, from frontend implementation to backend APIs Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize the performance of our application and data processing services to improve system availability and scalabilityCollaborate with and support QA to ensure the quality of software, writing test plans and unit tests
About You
You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experienceYou have at least 2 to 5 years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record as a software engineer You are proficient in software development with NodeJS, PHP and/or Python, and have a good grasp of micro-service architecture You have experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and RedisYou enjoy building graph visualizations and dashboarding, for observability of what you have built You are looking forward to designing and building products that runs in the Cloud You write good quality code, that can be safely co-authored in a fast-growing organizationYou think about how to test codes before writing themYou are a team player, and you understand that collaboration is crucial in a team You have a growth mindset, and seek to continually improve your knowledge and capability
