We're a YC-backed company building real infrastructure for an industry that still runs on PDFs, fax machines, and manual data entry. We take something boring and high stakes, regulatory compliance, and make it fast, modern, and extremely exciting to work on. Without the right licenses, our clients legally cannot operate, so what we build isn't a nice to have, it's a hard requirement for their business to exist. If you want to write software that replaces genuinely painful manual work for real paying customers, this is that role.\ \ What you'll work on:\ \ \- Build and ship product across our core platform, from client-facing tools to internal systems that manage filings across dozens of state regulators\ \- Design and improve the data layer powering our NMLS automation, including how we structure, store, and secure sensitive client and applicant information\ \- Work on browser automation and agent-based tooling that interacts directly with state and federal licensing systems\ \- Help shape technical architecture decisions early, this is a small team, what you build now is what we run on for years\ \- Move quickly between frontend, backend, and infra as needed, we don't have the luxury of narrow lanes yet\ \ What we're looking for:\ \ \- Strong experience with TypeScript across the stack\ \- Comfort working with Postgres and designing schemas for complex, evolving data\ \- Experience shipping production software end to end, not just in a single layer of the stack\ \- Genuine interest in working on a small team where your code ships fast and gets used immediately\ \- Comfortable with ambiguity, the regulatory domain is complex and the requirements will not always be fully spec'd out for you\ \- Bonus: experience with Supabase, Vercel, vector databases, or browser automation tools like Playwright
