Site Reliability Engineer - Night Shift

We are looking for a SRE / CloudOps Engineer who will be responsible for managing, building and scaling our 1500+ node setup, which processes millions of real-time events and personalizations daily. We are looking for candidates with prior cloud infrastructure experience, ideally in a startup or other fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• On-call duties to provide system uptime, application support, incident management, and troubleshooting
• Shift rotation timings to cover availability of SRE function 24x7
• Follow run books to handle pager alerts
• Author incident reports by coordinating with multiple engineering teams
• Identify and fill gaps in the monitoring & alerting system
• Periodic reporting of system status to the organization

Requirements

Must have requirements

• • 2+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Willingness and ability to work in night shifts (night shifts will be structured to be sustainable)
  • Linux sysadmin experience or equivalent

Good to have requirements

• • Experience with managing AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with managing a container orchestration system
  • Working understanding of large scale data systems and data pipelines
  • Working understanding of NoSQL, SQL databases, and queueing systems
  • Experience with modern SRE practices & tools
  • Experience with active incident management
