Job description

ABOUT US

Our mission at Avelios is to unlock clinical data to power seamless healthcare operations for better patient care. To do so, we have built a modular software platform that digitizes and optimizes workflows in hospitals with cutting-edge technology in a user-friendly way. With our software, we enable hospitals, doctors & nurses to provide their patients with the best possible care.
We are growing fast and want to keep expanding our team and business to fundamentally digitize healthcare for the better. We appreciate different backgrounds and see diversity as one of our strengths.

THE TEAM AND ROLE

As a Senior Product Manager (all genders) you will take end-to-end responsibility for the product strategy and further development of our core product areas within the Avelios platform — from discovery to delivery to rollout. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, our Medical team, customers, and partners, translating market and user needs into scalable, robust product features.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where product thinking meets digital transformation in healthcare.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and continuously evolve the roadmap for a dedicated module within Patient Treatment and Billing, balancing customer commitments, regulatory requirements, and strategic product progress

  • Turn clinical user needs and market signals into clear product decisions by defining problem statements, outcomes, epics, user stories, and measurable acceptance criteria—so teams can build robust workflows that fit everyday clinical practice

  • Proactively orchestrate customer and regulatory input across discovery, specification, and prioritisation, ensuring medical correctness and practical usability are embedded in new development

  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Design, and Implementation to enable predictable delivery: clarify scope, dependencies, and handovers; improve planning reliability; and raise quality and efficiency for the components you own

  • Plan and execute launches and enablement for your features by coordinating release readiness (documentation, training, internal roll-out prep), maintaining crisp stakeholder communication, and supporting go-to-market activities with the commercial and delivery teams

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in a business or technology-related field, e.g. Computer Science, Medical Informatics or a comparable field

  • 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise startups

  • Proven excellence in product management processes: structured discovery, data-driven prioritisation, and reliable delivery

  • Strong analytical and decisive working style with a systematic problem-solving approach

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel and align diverse stakeholders

  • Solid technical understanding of APIs, data flows, and system integrations is a plus

  • Passion for intuitive, modern digital products in healthcare

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)

YOUR BENEFITS

  • Variety in your tasks and the opportunity to take ownership

  • An international, informal team structure in a motivating start-up atmosphere, allowing you to participate directly in our customer growth story and the overall success of Avelios

  • Ability to gain valuable hands-on experience in a startup backed by leading international VCs

  • Support for your personal development through continuous learning and feedback

  • Set your own rhythm with flexible working hours and trust-based time tracking

  • A virtual stock option package (VSOP) that lets you participate in Avelios’ long-term value creation

  • A monthly meal allowance up to 75 euros, full coverage of the Deutschlandticket, Urban Sports Club or a subsidized Wellpass membership, a bike leasing program and Corporate Benefits that give you access to discounts from a wide range of providers in various areas
