About The Role

DexCare is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our cross-functional team and provide customer-focused product design. You will set the vision for a complex problem space based on a deep understanding of user and business needs, as well as industry trends.

What You’ll Do :
  • Produces the experience vision for DexCare web-based experiences around finding and booking care - defining what patients will experience as part of fulfilling their needs in finding, understanding, and booking medical care. This will be a core part of the broader experience of how DexCare delivers value and has broad impact
  • Develops the principles, standards, and experiences to ensure a cohesive and purposeful end-to-end experience - and creates the mechanisms to scale this understanding and adherence (sharing with the product team and operationalizing processes) out to the broader DexCare team
  • Delivers mockups, prototypes, design patterns, and presentations on the innovations
  • Collaborate with developers to enable the technical implementation of your product
  • Acts as the UX expert and can advise and advocate to the organization on web design, standards, best practices, accessibility, and exploration of experiences for search and booking of care
  • Be a part of an inclusive team with values based on honesty, teamwork, and partnership
  • Create an inspiring vision, strategy, and inform metrics for your product and problem space
  • Understand the market, competition, and user requirements in detail
  • Translate user needs into meaningful initiatives and stories
  • Partner with commercial, customer experience, and engineering to design, develop, and ship new products and features
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, and develop new enhancements based on data-driven analyses, KPIs, and usability research
  • What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field AND 7+ years of experience working in product or service design or equivalent industry experience (e.g., experience using design thinking to solve problems in any number of fields)
  • Portfolio of work (Online, PDF, etc.) 
  • Deep knowledge of industry-standard design practices, with strengths in E-commerce UX and web visual design
  • Strong communication and organizational skills 
  • Own your own timelines and deliverables, guide production 
  • Experience managing simultaneous projects and coordinating the efforts of multiple teams
  • Experience in running feedback sessions, capable of taking constructive criticism
  • Self-starter with expertise in user experience and design, seeks to expand knowledge 
  • Understands how to utilize design specialties and how/when to integrate with partnering teams (PM, engineering, and commercial experience) 
  • Experience turning research outcomes into success stories 
  • Solid understanding of design systems and technical frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, API’s/SDK concepts, React, etc.)
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of current design or management tools (Figma, Adobe suite, Jira, and others)  
  • Awareness of inclusive design and how it supports DexCare’s mission  
  • Willingness to question established thinking in pursuit of better outcomes  
  • Familiarity with agile or lean methodologies
  • Experience in the medical space is a plus but not a requirement
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Comfortable with modern design + AI design and development process
  • Capable of producing full prototypes using web technologies (or equivalent) 
  • Familiarity with development best practices 
  • Experience with After Effects or other motion graphics production
