Senior Marketing Designer

Job description

Role overview:

  • As the first senior marketing designer in-house at Dispatch, you own brand execution across every surface.

  • You report to the co-founder and COO and work directly with the founding Product Designer on visual identity, the Head of Marketing on campaigns and content, and the revenue team on sales materials.

  • You build and direct: producing decks, web pages, and campaign assets yourself while setting the creative standard for contractors and other designers.

  • The brand is early. You'll shape it as Dispatch scales into enterprise financial advisory. The pace here is fast; the standard is high.

What you'll own:

  • Brand ownership — Set the visual direction for Dispatch's brand and drive its expression across every surface. You write the guidelines, build the assets, maintain the libraries, direct design contractors, and handle whatever each surface requires to keep the brand consistent.

  • Marketing execution — Execute across the full range of marketing deliverables (conference keynotes, event booths, case study pages, campaign assets, and sales collateral) at craft level and on deadline.

  • Web design — Partner with the Webflow-native production designer on web initiatives. You set the brief and hold the quality bar across pages, components, and flows.

Experience & background:

  • 8+ years of design experience, with senior in-house experience at a company recognized for brand craft.

  • Built a brand system from initial concept through dedicated guidelines and org-wide implementation.

  • Directed junior designers or design contractors across deliverables, with ownership over the brief, the feedback cycle, and the final output quality.

  • Startup experience required: Series B or earlier, or fewer than 100 people at time of joining, ideally as one of the first marketing hires.

  • Presented brand decisions to a strong-opinion founder team and landed the work by changing minds, finding common ground, or both.

  • Webflow-literate at minimum; production fluency preferred.

  • Background in brand system work, not primarily product/UI design, motion, or isolated marketing production.

You'll stand out if you have:

  • B2B or enterprise-facing brand experience (consumer brand background is a plus).

  • Experience at a B2B SaaS company known for strong brand work (Wiz, Gong, etc.).

  • Experience with the latest AI tools and technologies.

Characteristics you have:

  • Brand Craft — Your aesthetic bar is high and internalized. You know what's right before you can explain why, and that sensibility shows in every decision: type, color, layout, and hierarchy chosen with intention, coherent across every surface the brand touches.

  • Sharp Judgment — You make creative decisions with speed and intention, and can articulate why each one is right. When a direction isn't serving the work, you say so and come with an alternative.

  • Audience-Driven — You design for a specific audience, not a generic one. You understand that Dispatch's brand has to earn credibility with enterprise buyers, and your choices reflect that in type, tone, and layout.

  • Startup-Speed Execution — You don't need a lot of structure to produce strong work. You scope your own briefs, fill gaps with judgment, and ship without waiting for everything to align. You thrive with ownership.

  • High Standards — You take feedback seriously and iterate without ego. When work isn't landing, you want to know, and you do the work to get it there. What ships reflects your standards, not just what was asked for.

Things to highlight about Dispatch:

  • First senior marketing designer in-house, with direct access to company founders, Head of Marketing, and founding Product Designer.

  • Data orchestration platform for wealth management: the shared data layer underneath a fragmented stack of custodians (Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing) and advisor tools (Salesforce, Black Diamond, Orion, eMoney, DocuSign, and more).

  • $30M raised, primarily backed by the family who owns Fidelity (F-Prime). Other investors include Valor Equity, Twelve Below, Fika, NY Life, and Mass Mutual.

  • Top-tier health insurance (medical + dental + vision) for the entire family; unlimited PTO.

Location:

  • Located in NYC: Tuesday - Thursday in our Union Square office
