Here, you’ll tackle complex, high‑visibility problems with exceptional teammates and grow your career as we build the future of global banking. If that sounds like you, let’s build what’s next.

About the team

The Marketing team at Airwallex is the growth engine driving brand dominance and hyper-scale customer acquisition globally. We don't just run campaigns; we build the market playbook for the future of global financial infrastructure. Operating in a hyper-growth, fast-moving fintech environment, we leverage data-driven insights and bold, creative strategies to ensure Airwallex disrupts and leads the market. Our team is a high-octane group of builders passionate about telling the Airwallex story, moving the needle, and executing at the highest level to support our explosive global growth.

What you’ll do

As the Senior Manager, Customer Marketing, you will build and scale Airwallex’s customer advocacy engine across the Americas. You’ll turn successful customers into champions by strengthening our presence across influential review platforms, creating compelling customer proof, launching an executive Customer Advisory Board, and delivering customer communications that support growth.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role at the intersection of customer marketing, advocacy, content, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and revenue operations. You’ll build repeatable programs from the ground up, work directly with customers and senior stakeholders, and connect customer enthusiasm to measurable outcomes such as pipeline velocity, win rates, retention, and expansion.

This role is based in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Build a scalable advocacy program and storytelling engine that turns satisfied customers into champions and brings their stories to life as a key marketing channel. Work with cross functional partners to ideate and build the program from the ground up, and identify opportunities to weave customer proof points into our external narrative.

  • Own Airwallex’s presence, performance, and rankings across G2, Trustpilot, Gartner Peer Insights, and Capterra in the Americas. Design thoughtful review-generation campaigns and translate insights into company-level proposals.

  • Manage the Customer Advisory Board for strategic customers to translate their feedback into actionable recommendations, including member selection, executive sponsorship, communications, agendas, session planning, and internal and external follow-up.

  • Launch and own the Americas customer newsletter, including audience segmentation, editorial planning, content development, distribution, and engagement reporting.

  • Define and report on metrics including review performance, advocacy-influenced pipeline, reference usage, retention, expansion, customer story engagement, and use insights to power strategic recommendations.

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in B2B SaaS or fintech customer marketing, Product Marketing, partner marketing, customer advocacy, lifecycle marketing, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling customer advocacy, customer reference, review, or customer marketing programs.

  • Proven track record of running scaled G2 or other peer-review acquisition programs that improved review volume, ratings, visibility, domain scores, or category positioning.

  • Experience creating or managing customer-facing assets such as case studies, testimonials, customer videos, newsletters, webinars, or executive events.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interview customers and turn complex experiences into clear, compelling stories.

  • Ability to connect customer marketing initiatives to commercial outcomes such as pipeline velocity, win rates, sales-cycle acceleration, retention, or expansion.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate customers, vendors, approvals, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • High agency, sound judgment, and comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous, 0-to-1 environment.

  • Ability to work from Airwallex’s San Francisco office in accordance with the team’s working model.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in fintech, cross-border payments, expense management, financial infrastructure, or B2B SaaS.

  • Experience launching or managing a C-level Customer Advisory Board, executive council, CFO community, or similar senior customer forum.

  • A portfolio of compelling customer case studies, video testimonials, customer-led content, or other written and visual storytelling work.

  • Experience building customer reference libraries, advocacy communities, or searchable customer evidence repositories.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, Gainsight, G2 Admin, marketing automation platforms, and reporting or analytics tools.
