The Role:

The Senior Manager - Accounting leads the financial reporting and core accounting functions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of DailyPay’s financial statements. By driving process improvements and ensuring GAAP compliance, you provide the financial foundation that supports DailyPay’s strategic growth and operational excellence.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Establish Operational Objectives: Define and execute departmental goals that improve financial accuracy, shorten the close cycle, and enhance overall reporting transparency

  • Manage Technical Accounting: Serve as the subject matter expert for complex accounting topics, including revenue recognition, equity compensation, and capitalized software costs

  • Orchestrate External Audits: Lead the annual audit process by serving as the primary liaison with external auditors and ensuring the timely delivery of all required schedules and documentation

  • Drive Process Automation: Identify and implement system optimizations within NetSuite and other fintech stacks to automate manual workflows and scale with the business

  • Strengthen Internal Controls: Maintain and enhance the internal control environment (SOX-readiness), ensuring all financial activities are documented and compliant with company policies

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, professional development, and technical excellence

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Legal, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure the accurate accounting treatment of new product launches and complex business transactions

What You Bring to The Team:

  • CPA Certification: Active CPA license is required, demonstrating a mastery of technical accounting standards and financial reporting requirements

  • ERP Mastery: Advanced proficiency with NetSuite and reconciliation software (e.g., BlackLine), with a track record of driving large-scale system implementations or optimizations

  • Strategic Problem Solving: Proven ability to solve complex financial challenges and establish long-term work plans that align with broader organizational goals

  • Executive Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex financial results and technical accounting issues to non-financial stakeholders and executive leadership

  • Analytical Precision: Strong data literacy and the ability to manage large, complex datasets to identify trends, variances, and operational efficiencies

What We Offer:

  • Exceptional health, vision, and dental care

  • Opportunity for equity ownership

  • Life and AD&D, short- and long-term disability

  • Employee Assistance Program

  • Employee Resource Groups

  • Fun company outings and events
