About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Engineering team and help us build the future of creative tooling. Our ideal candidate has detailed knowledge of application development and understands tradeoffs in application architecture. Projects may include the development of interactive canvas applications for image, video, or audio editing.
Responsibilities
- Work within product pods of engineers and product managers to own end-to-end product development from application architecture to backend and frontend development
- Develop interactive applications including image, video, and audio editing tools powered by state of the art AI models
Skills
You'd be a good fit for this role if you have:
- Experience with Javascript frontend frameworks like React, NextJS, and Fabric
- Experience building scalable backend APIs in Javascript, Python, Rust or other frameworks
- Comfort working with and hearing from customers who use the products you build
- Specific knowledge of interactive technologies like Fabric and WebGL. These skills are highly preferred
Logistics
Annual Total Compensation for this role is $150,000 - $300,000
In-Person Policy: At NEX we are strong believers that small teams work better in-person.
US Visa Sponsorship: We are happy to sponsor travel visas for applicants outside of the US and transfer visas from other companies. However, we aren't able to sponsor visas for everyone due to bureaucratic process. But if we make you an offer, we will work hard to get you into the United States.
