The Senior Director, Performance Excellence serves as the advisor to the Chief Performance Officer (CPO) and plays a central role in driving performance excellence at Aledade. This is a high-impact, high-visibility position for someone who is comfortable working across clinical strategy, data, and business performance. This role will operationally lead the department’s Performance Excellence objective, helping teams stay aligned and ensuring progress towards key goals through clear data, strong coordination, and effective collaboration.
In this role, the Senior Director will shape how Aledade tracks and communicates performance. This role will manage and support the Performance Objective Steering Committee (SteerCo meetings), lead complex performance reviews, and translate market trends and competitive insights into clear, actionable recommendations. The goal is not only to achieve strong results, but to ensure those results are clearly understood and communicated across the organization.
Primary Duties:
Performance Objective Management:Serve as the Performance Objective Ops Lead: Drive performance excellence by partnering across BI, Product/Tech, Field Operations, and Clinical Strategy to identify performance issues, drive analysis, and coordinate cross-functional solutions that improve outcomes. SteerCo Management: Own the end-to-end execution of the Objective Steering Committee (SteerCo) meeting. Work with the CPO to set the strategic agenda, track accountability against KRs, and drive high-stakes decision-making.Metric Accountability: Monitor and pressure-test organizational progress toward hitting our numbers, identifying performance gaps before they become critical risks.
Strategic Performance Insights & Knowledge Management:Market Benchmarking: Support the CPO by monitoring industry trends and performance standards, providing internal context on how Aledade’s operational results compare to the broader Value-Based Care landscape.Executive Briefing & Synthesis: Prepare high-level performance briefings and data summaries for the CPO, translating complex internal analytics into clear, actionable insights for leadership review.Internal Evidence Gathering: Serve as the central point person for organizing internal performance data into standardized case studies and evidence-based reports to document clinical and operational successes.Information Orchestration: Partner with cross-functional teams to curate and maintain a library of performance results, ensuring that internal data is validated and organized for various strategic organizational needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
MBA or equivalent required8+ years of relevant experience3-5 years of experience at a management consulting firm2+ years in fund research, equity analysis, or investment bankingProven experience acting as a Program Manager or Lead for executive-level steering committees or strategic initiatives.Demonstrated ability to work directly with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and complex analytical frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to synthesize complex data into executive-level narratives and presentations.Experience analyzing market trends to produce competitive benchmarking.Understanding of Medical Loss Ratio (MLR), Total Cost of Care (TCoC), and risk-adjustment models.Skill in maintaining a neutral, data-driven perspective while driving cross-functional accountability.Ability to lead high-stakes meetings with senior clinical, operational, and financial leadership.High capacity for ingesting large volumes of external market data and distilling it into "So What?" summaries on tight deadlines.Experience managing the end-to-end research lifecycle, including case studies and peer-reviewed articles with a PhD or similar academic background highly preferred
