  • Strong understanding of Git and branching/release strategies.
  • Experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, load balancers, firewalls, SSL/TLS, and connectivity.
  • Experience with application and infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps practices, secrets management, access controls, and vulnerability management.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Helm and Kubernetes package/deployment management.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
  • Knowledge of microservices and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience with monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK.

  • Experience implementing disaster recovery, backup, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
  • Familiarity with SRE practices, SLIs/SLOs, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
  • Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of DevOps and deployment processes across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
  • Design, build, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and automated application delivery.
  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automation.
  • Manage containerized workloads and Kubernetes environments.
  • Automate repetitive infrastructure, deployment, configuration, and operational activities.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes.
  • Establish and maintain effective monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across applications and infrastructure.
  • Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes follow appropriate security, scalability, availability, and reliability practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production issues and drive root-cause resolution.
  • Implement appropriate backup, recovery, high-availability, and disaster-recovery practices.
