COMPANY OVERVIEW

KKR is a leading global investment firm that offers alternative asset management as well as capital markets and insurance solutions. KKR aims to generate attractive investment returns by following a patient and disciplined investment approach, employing world-class people, and supporting growth in its portfolio companies and communities. KKR sponsors investment funds that invest in private equity, credit and real assets and has strategic partners that manage hedge funds. KKR’s insurance subsidiaries offer retirement, life and reinsurance products under the management of Global Atlantic Financial Group. References to KKR’s investments may include the activities of its sponsored funds and insurance subsidiaries.

Position Summary

Global Atlantic's Bermuda team is seeking a technically strong senior analyst to play a key role in the development and enhancement of our proprietary ALM projection platform used for Bermuda EBS valuation, BSCR capital calculation, and Embedded Value reporting. The platform is in active expansion from its core valuation engine into end-to-end regulatory reporting, financial forecasting, and a broader suite of actuarial and investment analytics, including predictive modeling and AI-enabled capabilities. This role combines quantitative and financial modeling with hands-on Python and SQL development and applied AI/ML development, working directly on production ALM projection systems that run across multiple insurance entities and economic scenarios. The successful candidate will apply numerical computing, forecasting, scenario analysis, financial modeling, and machine learning techniques to support the continued development of the platform. The position will partner closely with Investments, Risk, Corporate Actuarial, FP&A, and Technology teams to deliver high-quality projection capabilities, scalable analytical tools, strong governance, and meaningful analytical insights. This role will be based in our Hamilton, Bermuda office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support code development, enhancement and deployment of the ALM projection model used for quarterly Bermuda Economic Balance Sheet (EBS) valuation, BSCR capital calculation, and Embedded Value reporting
  • Develop EBS forecasting capabilities to support FP&A, Deal Team, and new business modeling
  • Develop and enhance numerical modeling capabilities for asset-liability analysis, forecasting, scenario analysis, and portfolio optimization, including efficient implementation of large-scale calculations
  • Design and maintain automated unit tests and CI/CD pipelines to validate precision and reproducibility of financial, actuarial, and asset projection outputs across model releases
  • Collaborate with Actuarial, Investment and Risk teams to ensure asset assumptions, financial assumptions, and ALM strategies are appropriately reflected in projections
  • Perform review and challenge of model results to ensure accuracy, reasonableness, and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and integrate predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI capabilities to support forecasting, model acceleration, scenario analysis, and broader actuarial and investment analytics within the ALM platform

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, mathematical finance, computer science, engineering, or another quantitative discipline
  • 2-6 years of experience in quantitative modeling, financial modeling, actuarial modeling, data science, or related analytical/model development roles is preferred
  • Strong Python programming skills required; experience with SQL and/or other programming languages is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable developing reusable, production-oriented analytical or modeling code rather than only performing ad-hoc analysis
  • Experience with numerical computing libraries such as NumPy and SciPy and data manipulation frameworks such as Polars, Pandas, or similar
  • Experience developing forecasting, simulation, optimization, scenario-analysis, financial, or actuarial projection models
  • Experience developing reusable analytical/modeling code and automated data or modeling workflows
  • Experience with numerical optimization, large-scale computation, or performance optimization is preferred
  • Experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, or AI application development, including integrating models into production analytical workflows, is preferred
  • Experience with cloud-based model development or deployment and modern AI/ML frameworks is a plus
  • Experience with actuarial valuation/projection platforms such as MG-ALFA, Prophet, or Moody's AXIS is a plus
  • Familiarity with insurance, investments, asset-liability management, Bermuda EBS, Solvency II, or U.S. Statutory valuation frameworks is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex quantitative problems, learn new financial or actuarial concepts, and dive into technical details

The successful candidate will be a motivated, results-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. We are seeking someone who:

  • Excels at collaboration and communication, building strong cross-functional relationships
  • Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Is persistent when developing a solution to a problem
  • Demonstrates the ability to collaborate effectively within a high-performing team while maintaining strong individual accountability and execution.
  • Takes ownership of their responsibilities
