Job Description

At Apollo Education Systems, we’re on an exciting mission to transform how schools utilize data to enhance student outcomes. With a strong foundation from our proven founders who have successfully navigated the EdTech landscape and the support of Cie Digital Labs, a dynamic venture studio, we’re crafting the next generation of student lifecycle technology.

We’re thrilled to announce that our team is on the lookout for a Sales Representative to join us in designing, building, and deploying top-notch solutions for our customers.  You will accelerate our growth across California’s K–12 districts and charter schools. You will educate prospects, build relationships, and drive adoption of Apollo’s modern platform to replace legacy SIS systems.

Why Join Us?

  • Impact from Day One: As one of our early team members, your experience, tenacity and professionalism will be crucial to representing our fast-growing company.
  • Ownership: Enjoy equity and help shape our go-to-market strategy.
  • Mission: Contribute to technology that genuinely helps educators and students thrive.
  • Respect: Share your thoughts and be valued by your colleagues.
  • Remote-first culture: Preferred location in California, while collaborating with our team across the U.S.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, prospect, and engage K–12 districts and charter schools throughout California.
  • Qualify leads and manage a sales territory with a defined quota.
  • Understand pain points around legacy SIS systems (support, scalability, data integrity) and position Apollo as a superior alternative.
  • Prepare proposals, respond to RFPs, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams on campaigns, webinars, and district events.
  • Track all activity and maintain pipeline accuracy in HubSpot.
  • Stay current on K–12 trends, regulations (especially in California), local procurement rules, and competitor offerings..

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years in edtech SaaS or K–12 software sales, preferably selling to school districts and/or charter networks.
  • Proven success meeting and exceeding quota in a territory sales model.
  • Deep understanding of California’s educational system (COEs, school districts, charters) is strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary + Commissions
  • Early equity – grow with the company’s success
  • Full suite of benefits
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Opportunity to grow with a fast-moving, mission-driven EdTech company

Ready to Shape the Future of EdTech?

Join us at Apollo and be part of a team that moves quickly, tackles challenging problems, and builds technology that truly makes a difference!
