About the Role

The customer Renewals Associate is tasked with driving customer retention before and at the point of renewal, while fostering the success, growth, and expansion of each customer account (in product reach and/or revenue). He/She is accountable for successfully supporting the renewals process and helping solidify the long-term relationship between Bluesight and the customer. The territory encompasses a customer base worth $50M to $70M in total recurring revenue – retaining this revenue at the highest rate possible while partnering with the Renewals Manager to manage renewal pipeline, accurate reporting, and customer communication to ensure our customers’ success is absolutely pivotal to Bluesight’s continued growth.
Essential Functions of the Position:
  • Own and maintain the Salesforce renewal pipeline, which includes the creation of new renewal opportunities, ensuring customer contract data is accurate across all customer accounts and renewal opportunities, forecasting, correct pricing, and pipeline management.
  • Ensure all renewal reporting is accurate and reported on a timely basis
  • Successfully collaborate with Bluesight teams to collect and provide accurate information to the Renewals Manager, including Finance (pricing and invoice schedules), Customer Success (customer health), and Sales (existing pipeline), to help prepare for upcoming renewals
  • Initiate the renewals process by scheduling quality diagnostic and contract calls with the Renewals Manager and coordinate meeting logistics and prepare meeting prep materials, including existing pricing, contract summaries, and areas of customer success
  • Assist the Renewals Manager throughout the evaluation process to assure Bluesight customers receive the highest quality service and have an optimal experience
  • Own the renewal processes for new lines of Bluesight business and renewals under $30k for legacy lines of business,, including the management and negotiation of renewing contracts for customer accounts, effectively communicate contract terms, path to value, and position Bluesight for a positive outcome
  • Strong project management practices, including the management of multiple renewal engagements, all commencing a minimum of 90 days prior to renewal date
  • Assist customers with requests related to renewal maintenance, and invoicing.
  • Foster relationships with your client base
  • Achieve and exceed established dollar and unit retention targets (by customer and by product) and upsell/cross sell expansion
  • Probing for additional sales opportunities on all customer calls
  • Position Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of account management and renewal experience, including forecasting, contract proposal/pricing creation, negotiation, and contract execution
  • Demonstration of a client service focus to all interactions
  • Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful, and reliable
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport and build relationships
  • Exceptionally strong communication skills. You must possess the ability to communicate well both internally and externally
  • Ability to read situations and people and react accordingly
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver results in a timely manner
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Experience in SaaS industry required, Healthcare SaaS experience preferred
