The Remarketing Specialist I will be responsible for performing administrative duties related to auction support. The Remarketing Specialist I will assist in the follow up and research of transportation, title management, aged inventory, and other auction requests.  The purpose of this position is to support Remarketing team and Auctions working through various reports, completing auction related tasks,

Responsibilities: 

  • Minimize net credit losses by efficiently managing repossession inventory and maximizing returns from auction sale proceeds.
  • Ensure timely follow up on repossessions activities to minimize days to sale.
  • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with the company’s competencies, compliance, regulatory and information protection requirements.
  • Communicate effectively and regularly to dealers, auctions, and customers via outbound communications by phone and email for the follow-up in the Remarketing processes.
  • Work with suppliers and management to implement processes and efficiencies.
  • Perform data entry throughout the Remarketing process and ensure all documentation is maintained in an organized and secure manner.
  • Review condition reports, historical sale data, and NADA information to determine adequate sale prices and potential repairs to increase sale values. 
  • Execute title processes and follow-up to ensure timely liquidation of repossessions. 
  • Field inbound and outbound communication and answer questions as needed.
  • Create and ensure that regulatory required notices are sent within policy required timelines, documentation is complete and accurate in our system of record and all correspondence is uploaded into our system of record.  
  • Ensure that all internal and external stakeholders receive prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional service, including follow through to resolution. 
  • Maintain superior relationships with our dealership partners, suppliers, and customers.
  • Complete regular and ad-hoc reporting around the Remarketing processes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of experience preferably in auto finance or installment loan, specifically with focus in managing auction processes.
  • An Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in business or related may be used as a proxy for experience.
  • Experience with customer correspondence. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail a must. Preferably within auto finance or installment loan servicing.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and continue to complete daily or regular tasks consistently.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule which may include overtime, as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) and or Google Workspace i.e., G-Suite (Docs & Sheets).
  • Must be detail oriented and have a strong ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to master web-based loan servicing systems of record. Experience with LoanPro a plus – Training provided.
  • Customer Service attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Honest with a strong work ethic, unscheduled absences are rare, always punctual.
