Lead growth across data driven manufacturing and analytics

At Minitab, we help organisations make smarter decisions through data, improving quality, streamlining operations and accelerating digital transformation. Our analytics and software solutions are trusted by leading organisations worldwide.

We’re looking for a Regional Sales Director, EMEA North based in the UK to lead and grow our presence across the region, with responsibility for the UK, Ireland and Nordics. This is a high impact leadership role where you’ll shape regional strategy, develop a high performing sales team and work directly with customers, particularly within manufacturing, industrial and engineering led sectors.

If you’re a commercially driven sales leader who enjoys building teams, developing markets and remaining close to complex enterprise deals, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact across one of Minitab’s key regions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and deliver regional revenue targets across software and services, driving consistent and sustainable growth
  • Define and execute the go to market strategy for EMEA North, aligned with Minitab’s global priorities
  • Build a high performance culture with clear expectations, strong coaching and accountability for results
  • Build and maintain a strong, predictable pipeline through direct sales, channel partners and strategic alliances
  • Lead a consultative, value based sales approach, connecting Minitab’s analytics and manufacturing solutions to measurable business outcomes
  • Remain close to strategic opportunities, engaging directly with senior stakeholders and supporting the team through complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Champion the Customer Engagement Lifecycle (CEL) to drive strong customer outcomes and long term value
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Alliances, Product and Professional Services to identify and deliver growth opportunities
  • Recruit, develop and retain a high performing, geographically distributed sales team
  • Coach the team on territory planning, account strategy, pipeline development, forecasting, negotiation and closing
  • Ensure disciplined use of CRM (Dynamics) and sales processes to provide visibility, predictability and accountability
  • Stay close to market trends across the UK and Northern Europe, particularly within manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and analytics adoption

What we’re looking for

  • A hands on sales leader who combines strategic thinking with a willingness to engage directly with customers and support deal execution
  • Proven experience building, leading and developing enterprise sales teams
  • Strong background in enterprise software, ideally within analytics, manufacturing, engineering or industrial technology
  • Experience selling across UK and EMEA markets, with an understanding of different regional buying behaviours and business cultures
  • Deep expertise in consultative and value based selling
  • Ability to clearly articulate how technology delivers measurable business value, including quality improvement, cost reduction and operational efficiency
  • Experience building executive level relationships within complex, matrixed organisations
  • Strong commercial discipline across account planning, pipeline development, forecasting, negotiation and closing
  • Excellent leadership, communication and coaching skills

Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in enterprise software sales, including SaaS and/or on premise solutions
  • 3+ years leading regional or enterprise sales teams
  • Strong track record of delivering against challenging revenue targets
  • Experience working across UK and Northern Europe, ideally including the Nordics
  • Experience selling into manufacturing, engineering or industrial sectors is highly desirable
  • Experience with subscription and recurring revenue models
  • Strong cross functional leadership across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Professional Services
  • Experience developing and growing strategic enterprise accounts
  • Familiarity with Dynamics CRM is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% across the UK and EMEA North, with occasional wider international travel

How you work

  • You combine strategic thinking with hands on commercial leadership
  • You create clarity, accountability and momentum within your teams
  • You are commercially astute, customer focused and comfortable operating across different European markets

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with structured, consultative sales methodologies

Why join Minitab?
