Job Title
Regional Practice Manager
Job Location
Fredericksburg, Virgina
Job Description

Zarminali Pediatrics is building the nation's leading pediatric multispecialty group, focused on supporting families to shape healthy futures for their children – from birth through adulthood – by completely transforming the way pediatric care is delivered nationwide. We are tackling today's challenges of increased administrative burden on clinicians and a siloed approach to pediatric care through intentional design of care delivery, enhanced by leading technology and collaborative, expert care teams.

Our name, inspired by our founder's daughter's name – Zarmina – means “something that is more precious to you than gold”. We couldn’t think of anything that better represents the way parents and caregivers hold the relationship with their children as the most valuable gift, and how we at Zarminali approach care for each child with equal reverence.

We strive for a healthier future for pediatric patients and a happier future for pediatric clinicians nationwide, and we are looking for people to join us in achieving this vision. If you are eager to join a growth stage company and be part of the early team that is shaping the foundation of both the company and the delivery of pediatric care, then this opportunity might be for you!

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Practice Manager will oversee the daily operations of four pediatric clinics across the DMV region, ensuring exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and an outstanding team member experience. This role will be based primarily out of our Fredericksburg, Virginia clinic, with an expectation to work onsite at least three days per week and travel throughout the region clinics one to two days per week.

Partnering closely with regional leadership and centralized support teams, you'll lead clinic operations, drive performance, develop high-performing teams, and ensure consistency across multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative, hands-on healthcare leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional pediatric care.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of pediatric clinics across the region, ensuring operational excellence, exceptional patient care, and a consistent experience for patients, families, and team members.
  • Serve as the primary operational leader for the region, partnering closely with providers, regional leadership, and centralized support teams to drive performance and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Build, coach, and develop high-performing clinic teams by providing leadership, mentorship, and ongoing performance feedback that fosters accountability and engagement.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, onboarding, employee relations, payroll approvals, and performance management to ensure clinics are appropriately staffed and operating efficiently.
  • Monitor key operational and financial metrics, identify trends, and implement action plans that improve productivity, patient access, quality outcomes, and overall clinic performance.
  • Collaborate with centralized departments including Revenue Cycle, Human Resources, Credentialing, Marketing, IT, Facilities, and Clinical Operations to ensure seamless support for clinic operations.
  • Partner with providers to optimize patient flow, clinic scheduling, and resource allocation while maintaining an exceptional patient and family experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality initiatives across all clinic locations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and service excellence while effectively leading organizational change and communicating company initiatives.
  • Maintain the appearance, safety, and readiness of each clinic by ensuring facilities, equipment, and supplies support an outstanding patient experience.
  • Support regional growth initiatives, including new provider onboarding, operational integration, workflow optimization, and expansion efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinic teams while serving as a trusted operational partner and leader throughout the region.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement best practices that enhance both the patient and team member experience.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare operations experience, preferably in a multi-provider ambulatory or pediatric practice.
  • At least 2 years of leadership or practice management experience.
  • Previous experience managing multiple clinic locations or overseeing geographically dispersed teams strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable while creating an engaged, collaborative culture.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, scheduling, billing, compliance, and practice management.
  • Experience with EMR systems; Athenahealth experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with regional and centralized partners in a matrixed organization.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization transforming pediatric care delivery
  • A collaborative, team-based environment focused on operational excellence and patient experience
  • Ongoing learning, development, and career growth opportunities
  • Competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off
  • A supportive and inclusive culture where team members are valued and empowered

At Zarminali Pediatrics, we are committed to our empowering clinicians and team members to deliver better pediatric care, altogether. This commitment requires building an inclusive culture and a team that represents the diverse communities we serve.

We believe that when people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives come together, we create a stronger team and better care for our patients and their families. We realize the importance of an environment where clinicians and team members feel cared for, supported, and valued. We believe in the basics: treating everyone with kindness, respect, and fairness.
